Willy J Peso – Indica | Download & Listen [New Mixtape]

After sharing "Bob Marley" and "West West," Willy J Peso has shared his new EP, Indica. The project is the sequel to Sativa, released in December. In general, Willy's mindset on the EP is inspired by the weed strain for which it's named, and Indica is a more reflective body of work than the more aggressive and spontaneous sounds of Sativa. He expresses a wide array of feelings across the Indica's 7 tracks, which range from sentimental ("Indica") to turnt-up ("30 Grams") to menacing ("Fork"). Willy uses Indica as a means of enjoying his current success but also to alleviate all of the pain that his past has burdened him with. Whenever he's in his hometown of Detroit, he's always equipped with some of Cali's best harvest, and when he's out relaxing on the West Coast, his life in Detroit always looms in the back of his mind.

The lone feature on Indica comes from Willy's hometown collaborator Plus on "West West." The producers behind Indica are Natra Average, Philup Banks, Vybe Trybe, DJ Brown, KLVN, and Jerry Parker. Download Indica here, and once you're done, make sure to compare it to Sativa, which you can cop here.
